Science Olympiad is the nation's largest team-based science competition, covering all aspects of science and providing practical experience to students. It truly is a unique competition. As a competitor, I always competed in Astronomy, so after graduating, I joined the A-Team. The A-Team is a group of Science Olympiad alumni who share a passion for space science, led by Donna Young and Tad Komacek. Together, we create many of the resources used by students to prepare for competitions. We also write many tests for invitationals and write the space science national tests annually. Our goal is to improve the experience of Astronomy, Reach for the Stars, and Solar System for everyone.
